I have been training with Nick, in a small group session, for over a year. Nick is knowledgeable, personable and motivating. He runs an incredibly professional gym. He is an excellent trainer who respects and empowers every client – regardless of age, gender, or fitness level. I admire his dedication, his intellect, and knowledge in the field of health and education and fitness. Nick is completely “present”, in the moment, focused on each of us, reminding us to breathe properly, adjusting our technique when needed, modifying our exercises (because he remembers what we can/cannot do, for e.g. with past injuries), while encouraging, challenging and pushing us.
Therapeutically, I have benefitted tremendously from Nick’s coaching. The severe pain and stiffness, I once suffered as a result of an accident, have subsided; my strength and my range of motion have improved significantly. I now have more confidence in my weight training abilities. Consequently, my serotonin levels are way, way up!

I have been training with Nick for 4 months now. I can honestly say that I have not had better workouts in my 25 years of training. I love the group training sessions. I’ve been training with Nick for over 5 years. During this time I’ve lost body fat and have gained a significant amount of lean muscle in my arms, shoulders and back. My legs are now more defined and harder then ever. Since working with Nick I’ve dropped 4 sizes and have had to buy an entire new wardrobe that actually fits!

I have been working out for a number of years now. Since starting with Nick, I feel like I am working muscles I never used before, and am also weight training properly. The small group workouts have been challenging, and fun. I have learned so much in the last few months, and look forward to continuing to push myself, with the expert help of Nick.
I started training with Nick five months ago from the recommendation of my chiropractor for my Stage 1 L5 spondylolisthesis injury. I was so impressed with the knowledge and care that Nick provides in our sessions. Nick plans each of my sessions with a purpose to strengthen everything around the injury. This takes pressure off of the muscles and tissues that are sore and overworked. Nick does not shy away from the fact that I am limited in exercises that I can do. He modifies each exercise so I can do it, and listens to and encourages my feedback. Nick is available, it seems like, all day. He keeps in contact with me to monitor my back after each workout. If I have questions he gets back to me within 24 hours. I have never met someone more professional and passionate about his work and his clients.
Fast forward to now, my back pain has decreased 70%. I have lost 10 pounds, and I have gained so much muscle that I have been receiving compliments left and right. The gym used to be very intimidating for me. I never knew what to do, and exercising was a chore. Now I really look forward to my sessions, Nick makes them fun and challenging. My results have been amazing, and I will continue to train with him to accomplish all of my goals.
Working at an office has its benefits, but fitness is not generally one of them. As I looked in the mirror at work, I noted my poor posture, and the hunch I was developing in my back. As iconic as the software developer’s hunch is, I knew it was a slippery slope to back problems. Trying to go to the gym on my own had historically produced patchy results, and ultimately gave me something to avoid.
I knew I needed to try a different approach to fitness. After only a few sessions with Meghan I found it difficult to slouch any more, my shirts were fitting better, and my attitude at work was brighter. I have known Nick for almost a decade and have been working out with him on and off over that span of time. In between I’ve joined Fitness World, Bar Method, community centres and enjoyed outdoor parks, however I still find myself coming back to Nick and Forever Fit! He keeps me accountable, motivated and in line! I’ve never gotten the strong, bangin’ body I had with him at any of the other places I joined and certainly not in such a short amount of time as it seems to take with him. Working out with Megan has been great for me! I wanted to get a personal trainer for some time but was hesitant because I wanted to be focused, dedicated, get along with my trainer and have my trainer understand me. Megan has been able to help me achieve all of the above and more. I have learned so many different workouts with her and she makes them fun! She challenges me and provides me with a wealth of knowledge. Specifically we have bee journaling what I eat everyday and really focusing on mastering one habit at a time until I am comfortable. Nick Cosgrove is by far the best personal trainer I have worked with. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He adapts to each person’s needs in each class and does not push you harder than you should be working. The reason I started working out with Nick is because I wanted to get results fast! I wanted to have a trainer that will push me hard and give me the right attention on my form. I started working out with Nick in November 2014. It had been years since I had lifted any weights. I work out with Nick in one of the early morning classes 4 days a week. He is quite knowledgeable and a very respectful trainer. I am impressed by the growth and results that I am getting. He has a nice 45 degree rotation program that makes working out much less boring.
It is obvious that he is reading and keeping himself really updated on training and health. He is also very helpful in terms of diet advice and improving one’s eating habits. I recommend him, and I am looking forward to continue to train with him for a long time.

I have been working with Nick weekly at Forever Fit since 2011. I am one of his many long term clients and I could not be happier. He is always pushing me to new limits with a constant variety of cardio and body building exercises. Not like the other trainers I see that just put their client on an exercise bike for part of their workout and chat throughout the rest. Or even worse, make them run around the block while they are on their iphones waiting for their clients to return to the gym. Not so with Forever Fit.
During the time with Nick it has always been a dedicated one on one session. Even during the partner or group sessions you get his full attention. He is always watching to make sure your form is correct and that you are getting the maximum result out of doing the exercise. This is nothing less than I would expect from a personal trainer.
Nobody can believe the age that I am…. and it’s all because of Nick at Forever Fit. I am in the best shape ever. I feel and look great. Thanks Nick… you rock!!!!!

I have been working with Nick Cosgrove for over four years.
Nick has completely changed the shape of my body. When I first started with Nick I lost about twenty pounds, which I have since regained but it is now muscle instead of fat. He is most likely the best trainer that can work with a variety of clients from those that want to do fitness shows to those that just want to look and feel better and all the others in between.
My goal with Nick is to be able to eat and drink everything I want and then leave it to him to make the best of those choices for my best possible health outcome.
A session with Nick is not complete unless it includes some laughing, some chagrining for bad choices and an full intense workout. I love group training with Nick! No matter the time of day, he motivates us to push our limits, yet enjoy the workouts. He brought new exercises to the sessions all the time. Working out with Nick over the past few years has been an incredible experience. He helped me get fit and stay strong with great workouts geared to stay safe throughout my pregnancy and I wouldn’t have been able to drop the post pregnancy weight so easily without him. Prepping for my first show with Nick was such a great experience! From the day I first talked to Nick about a show until walking off the stage with a metal around my neck, Nick couldn’t have been more supportive.
After building a custom workout plan for me Nick made adjustments to the workouts to make them as convenient for me as possible. The diet he designed was so easy to follow and the minute I began to struggle with the ratios he made necessary adjustments. I appreciated Nick’s experience with training as he had suggestions and solutions to all of my issues, as well as having connections with other awesome professionals for the other aspects of my competition prep.
Through all of my ups and downs Nick was there for me with support, advice and best of all patience! From listening to me whine in person, to responding to my crazy emails, from meeting me at the gym to be my workout buddy, to texting me throughout my whole competition day, I couldn’t have asked for more from a coach!

My workout partner and I started working with Nick 6 months ago with a goal to increase lean body mass. Nick placed us on both a nutrition and workout plan to achieve these goals. With Nick’s expertise, support, encouragement, and professionalism we were able to achieve these goals. I cannot speak highly enough about Nick….his knowledge as a trainer is exceptional! This guy know his stuff! Our nutritional plans were detailed, clean and highly effective. The variety and diversity offered in our strength training program were challenging yet offered variety. My success to date with regards to my fitness goals is largely in part to Nick’s efforts and I am excited to push further with his continued guidance.
My training partner and I wanted to take our workouts to another level. As an indoor cycling instructor my cardio conditioning was great, but my workouts in the gym had plateaued, and at time I lacked energy. We approached Nick with the goal of adding lean muscle and increasing strength in the gym. After 6 months of working with Nick I have gained over 10lbs of lean muscle and my energy levels are much higher. Although I have always been active Nick helped me integrate a diet plan that has allowed me to reach my goals. Before training with Megan, I had a fairly good handle on most power lift exercises, and had a solid commitment to working out 3 – 4 times a week. I was fit, and mostly focused on weight and fat loss. I wanted to cover new ground in my workouts and gain some more
lean muscle mass. I was looking for a trainer with experience that could challenge me and push toward actual progress,
and thats when I met with Megan.
We discussed my goals and came up with a plan. After a general month training program and getting to know my fitness level, Megan then provided tailored workouts towards my goal. We experimented to find my weak points and to work on those areas that were falling
behind, and adjusted exercises accordingly. We spent a lot of time perfecting my form to maximize results, especially towards the last few sets when fatigue begins to set in. She also took measurements to monitor progress as we went along to keep me motivated
and in the know.
Over the past 6 months I spent so far under Megan’s program training and advice, I substantially increased my one rep maximums for power lifts and made modest increases muscle mass overall for my age and lifting experience. Megan’s no pressure, no obligation style,

I have been working out with Nick for approximately seven years. My daughter Shanna had been training with him, and when my trainer retired from the business, I needed to find a new one. It’s very true when someone says you need to find a trainer you connect with. The right fit is just as important as regular workouts. I had an incredible bond with my first trainer and was very sceptical I’d find a replacement that even came close. After much coaxing from Shanna, I started with Nick and never looked back. I have been working with Nick on a regular basis for more than seven years and I am very pleased with the progress I have made. The day my brother-in-law introduced me to Nick was the day my life changed. I had lost some weight before meeting with Nick but I had hit a plateau. I was only doing cardiovascular exercises for my continued weight loss but the weight wasn’t coming off anymore. I started training with Nick about eight years ago and it has been one of the best experiences of my life, both physically and mentally. I have lost over 35lbs since that time which is a great feeling. Training has given me back some of my self-confidence and has made me happier in many ways. The fact that I feel healthier is an amazing feeling as well. I am grateful for everything I have learned and can use in my own workouts outside of my personal training.
I have been working out with Nick for eight years now. When I first went to see him, I had not been to a gym in years and had gained substantial weight (60lbs) after having two children. I was having ongoing issues with my lower back from being overweight and out of shape. I started going once a week for one-on-one training sessions. I started to notice a difference within a few weeks. I told Nick about my lower back issues and he was very careful to choose exercises that I was able to do without aggravating my back. He worked on strengthening my core muscles to help prevent future flare-ups of back pain as well. He was attentive to any comments I made about feeling uncomfortable with a particular exercise given my weak back and he always had an alternative exercise to work on the same muscle group. Seeing the success I was having losing weight, I increased my workouts to twice a week. His training sessions are always changing, challenging and fun. He comes up with new exercises and routines each session. Knowing he is at the gym waiting for me, is always motivation to get me to my workout. Since working with Nick, I have dropped over 50lbs and have gone from a size 18 to a size 12 and no longer have back issues.
