Listen up; I have something to say – I fucking HATE Fitbits; motivational/Inspirational Gym Content makes me gag, I can’t stand selfies in the squat rack, and I get increasingly annoyed listening to Trainers who count their clients’ reps out loud
1. Like Crocs, Fitbits are a fashion faux pas! No, I DO NOT want a piece of plastic attach to my arm telling me how many calories I burned while taking a shit.
2. We don’t need motivational/inspirational bullshit to go to a gym and lift some ass heavy shit. Just shut up, be disciplined, go to the gym, and lift some heavy ass shit!
3. These days, squat racks are a hot commodity. And all you motherfuckers out there taking selfies in them are selfish pricks
4. I understand that my industry is incredibly vain and flakey. And trainers, you’re not helping us fix this reputation by showing off your counting skills! Shut the fuck up and count your clients’ reps In your head!!!!
I’m sorry, I’m just very passionate about exposing and calling out stupid shit.
Now, back to today’s topic:
Should I Really Start Censoring Myself?
Honestly, my first reaction is “Fuck No!”. However the other day it was brought to my attention by a concerned IG follower that some of the content I release might be offensive towards others.
I must admit that I was a bit taken back at first by this statement made from this follower who isn’t a client of mine. But I was curious to find out as to where I went astray. Therefore I penetrated more into the conversation to find out.
“Your views on IIFYM Diet & CrossFit come off as judgemental”
Fucking right they come off as judgemental!!!! The If It Fits Your Macros Diet teaches NOTHING about the importance of micronutrients (quality of foods you are consuming) and CrossFit has a long list of victims who have been left broken and injury riddled.
“Your posts about sexuality might be too much”
Why? I’m comfortable with my sexuality. Sex can be amazing (if done with the right person), and we’re all adults (I don’t train or release my content to children).
I don’t think sex should be a taboo subject. Which is why I list it as a benefit to exercising and living a somewhat healthy lifestyle.
“You’re an Asshole”
Well, I can’t argue with that. I definitely can be a times. For the most part, I only like to write about shit that makes me hard (figuratively speaking of ofcourse).
But I’m also completely transparent when it comes to discharging the truth. I don’t shy away from difficult topics (My Blog with regards to Uvalde School Shooting) and I’m always willing to accept and acknowledge my indescrepencies (My Blog with regards to my addiction to opioids after the Grand Mal Seizure I suffered back in 2021)
“Why Can’t You Just Write About Diet & Exercise?”
Because that shit is played out. The fitness industry is already oversaturated with bleach blond bimbos and juiced up meat heads promoting the “fitness lifestyle” through filtered selfies and Sunday Funday meal preps. Regardless of what some people might think, I actually do have a few thoughts in my head that have absolutely nothing to do with building muscle and losing fat.
Final Thoughts……
I’m a fucking good trainer! I don’t filter shit. I help my clients achieve results by LISTENING to them. And I help them troubleshoot thorough their plateaus based on the 20+ years of experience I have from working in this industry. I’m fully transparent and don’t/won’t censor shit.
Like it or leave it. It is what it is.
