Another year has passed and Christmas is almost here.
Which means it’s time for me to release my Holiday Rant for the tenth consecutive year.
Now I know in the past, some of my rants may have been considered too vulgar and mean.
Therefore for this year, I’ll try my absolute best to keep this rant clean.
Yes it’s true, Santa will probably leave another lump of coal in my sock.
But if you get offended easily and don’t like my rants, then write down your comment, and put it in my suggestion box.
So get ready to go because I’ve got alot of things to rant about and say.
As I’m tired of watching the fitness industry dilute itself and begin to decay.
Ready To Rant!
Unfortunately cellphones in the gym appear as if they are here to stay.
Unfortunately there are far too many people in the gym who still won’t put their damn weights away.
Fortunately for me, 2019 was a very good year.
Fortunately for me, I was able to take a few steps forward in my career.
Our online business has really began to expand.
I feel grateful and fortunate to offer a service that has become so high in demand.
One of my goals this year was to promote fitness online and to teach people how to be healthy.
And I’m proud to say that I accomplished this goal without bending over and taking one ass selfie.
My beef with CrossFit is over and done.
And now a new beef with Orange Theory has just begun.
Overcrowded classes, people flip flopping around the gym with no correction to form.
All because the standards of training have become so low, that shitty service has become acceptable and considered the norm.
I still think Trainers that film their clients during their sessions are shameless and cheesy.
Promoting a service has never looked so tasteless and sleazy.
People paying you for your time, while you stand around playing on your phone.
When you should be focused on their workouts and making sure that they remain motivated and in the zone.
The movie the Game Changers has become a real pain in my ass.
And all these plant based protein powders just bloat me and give me copious amounts of gas.
I’m not against plant based diets nor am I a big meat eating fan.
In fact if you check my own diet, you will see that I’m a fairly simple man.
I stick to the foods that I like, and that will provide me with enough energy to get me through my day.
And I don’t allow the fad diets like intermittent fasting and IIFYM to confuse me and get in my way.
I’ve never believed in offering any of our services as complimentary or free.
I’ve also never believed in marketing our services with any false guarantees.
I believe in being honest with our clients and therefore do not try to sell them on some lie.
I may be alot of things, but I could never be that guy.
Being direct and straight forward can occasionally come off as being blunt and bold.
However I truly believe that our team of Trainers can help people get in shape, as long as they do what their told.
I’m really proud of all of our clients and their dedication to exercise.
I’m even proud of the ones that bitch and complain to me when they don’t like how I compromise.
No, working out shouldn’t be easy and it’s not always fun.
And No, I still don’t think it is or ever will be acceptable to wear a man bun.
I’m really glad to see that more and more women are embracing their curves.
But all these filtered selfies are really starting to get on my nerves.
Guys in the gym, stop hitting on the chicks.
And Guys on my Instagram, please stop sending me dick pics.
I’ve never been one to “do it for the gram”.
And honestly when it comes to how many likes and views I get on a post, I really don’t give a damn.
So as I come to the conclusion of this year’s Holiday Rant,
I want to remind you all to never say to yourself that “I Can’t”.
Take the next few days and give your body and mind some rest.
If you have goals that you want to achieve in the New Year, then write them down and prepare yourself to do your absolute best.
I wish you all a Happy Holiday Season and to all a goodnight.
And don’t forget to continue to lift heavy, train smart, and eat right.
Happy Holidays!
