Beauty Without a Brain

Why are you here? Where do you see yourself in 30 years? What do you want out of life?

I found myself asking myself these very same questions while I was finishing up my last 10 minutes of cardio at the gym the other day. Am I wasting my time working out and eating healthy? I mean surely there has to be more to life then butts, breasts and biceps. I know that I work in the fitness industry, but it seems as if an increased number of people these days are becoming more self involved in their looks and their appearances. And although I have no problem with exercising for the soul purpose of enhancing one's physique, I do take issue when it's constantly broadcasted on my Social Media pages and portrayed as an image of power and dominance.

Is There an App for That?

Is it just me or are we as a society becoming lazier and lazier when it comes to achieving our health and fitness goals? I hate to rant and rave (Who am I kidding? I love to rant and rave), but it seems as if almost everyone who is anyone is relying now more then ever on modern technology, meal prep services and fitness apps to help them achieve the ultimate physique. Before I begin, I would like to state that I'm not looking to stir up some type of drama nor am I trying to create any controversy. I'm simply trying to take an annoying, irritating and frustrating first world problem that I deal with on a regular basis, and expose the culprits who turn my place of therapeutic release into a place of negativity and despair.

So without further adieu, let's dissect and discuss the different types of Gym Douche Bags and hopefully resolve a few issues where both Fitness Enthusiasts who practice proper gym etiquette and Gym Douche Bags who practice perfecting their selfie face, can coexist peacefully with one another within our iron jungle.

Muscle Moms

Sleepless Nights, Fluctuating Energy Levels, Intense Food Cravings, Nausea, Cramping, Constipation. No, I'm not referring to the manifestations of a contest prep diet (although strikingly similar in comparison), I'm referring to just a few of the many well known side effects of pregnancy.
