WHERE THE F*CK HAVE I BEEN LATELY???

I feel that I must apologize for my lack of activity on our Social Media Platforms these past couple of weeks. For the record, I don’t think that anyone waits in anticipation for my next Facebook Post, or constantly checks our YouTube Channel to see if we’ve released any new videos as of late. Nor do I believe that anyone is scrolling through Instagram just to watch my latest IG Stories or check and see if my latest blog is up on our website this week (incase you’re wondering this is it and it’s up right now).

I do however believe that it’s important to remain consistent in everything I do. Whether that be in business, in the gym, or in my own personal life, I’ve always believed that consistency leads to success in any and all areas of life.

EXCUSES VS ACTION

I have always been of the belief that a person has to find a level of consistency where they are constantly doing things which are productive in order to become successful in life. In my opinion there are either excuses or action, and you can’t have both. I am very old fashioned with my work ethic. I’m known by many of my clients and peers to be a 24/7 type of guy when it comes to business. This in turn translates to my work ethic with training, diet and cardio as well.

I sometimes feel as if Instagram and Facebook have killed some peoples’ desire to work as they’ve become deluded about what it really takes to become successful. And although I’ve become a fairly consistent user of Social Media myself these past few years, I always try my absolute best to promote the message that hard work is the ONLY way to achieve long lasting, sustainable results.

So Where Did I Go?

Like many Small Business Owners, COVID-19 has really thrown us through a few loops. The last few months have definitely been a bumpy ride but I would be lying if I claimed that business was “slow”.  In fact, our business oddly enough has become busier during COVID-19! And although I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to be this busy, I am also a little bit overwhelmed with the additional workload at the moment.

You see, the majority of our clients have continued to work with us throughout this global pandemic, both Online and In-Person. And now, we have new clients signing up to work with us on almost a daily basis due to the fact that some restrictions have been lifted during Phase 2 of the Re-Opening of Businesses here in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Our Online Business has never been this busy before. It’s almost as if the Quarantine Life has motivated some people to become more conscientious of their nutrition and health. Currently as I write this week’s blog, I am working with over 100 people Online alone. Again, I can’t stress how grateful I am to be in such a fortunate position.

Unfortunately my increased workload both on the gym floor and online has forced me to sacrifice the time I would normally spend releasing health and fitness content for both our clients and followers through our Social Media Platforms. Now even though this might not bother most people who support our business, it definitely bothers me. I pride myself on being consistent. And providing informative training and dietary content on a regular basis is important to me.

So What Should I Do?

Pandemic Experts are warning that the Second Wave of COVID-19 will be worse then the first and predicting that this particular wave is expected to arrive come Fall Season. Whether they are right or wrong has yet to be seen. However I personally plan on using whatever time I have during this pandemic to accomplish as much as I possibly can both in business and in life. I want to help my clients achieve their health and fitness goals. I don’t want the coronaviruses to stop people from enjoying their lives and the benefits that come from regular physical activity. Therefore I’m going to continue to work as hard as I can and for as long as I can to ensure that our clients come out of COVID-19 (whenever it ends) stronger, healthier and in the best shape of their lives.

In the mean time if I slip up or fall behind on my Social Media Posts, please forgive me and understand that I have not given up on using this powerful tool to communicate and connect with people from across the globe. My attention has just been more focused towards helping those around me achieve their personal best and improve their own overall quality of life, regardless of what’s going on in the world.
